Fri AM 2/14/25

The grooming team is busy this morning with other responsibilities (work, med appts, etc) but plans to get out to the Fairgrounds before lunch and will be working diligently to get conditions tuned up after yesterday's wet snow and last night's freeze up. It's VERY warm and mushy out there right now with temps well above freezing. The new snow is soft and wet. Please NO SKIING at the Fairgrounds this afternoon. We'd like to leave it as it us until it freezes up solid overnight. Then we can groom it in the AM and try to get it skiable again. Skiing in this soft wet snow leaves deep tracks which can be very hard to smooth out once it re-freezes. THANK YOU for your cooperation. /the grooming squad/

. Fairgrounds trails were groomed this AM and some classic tracks set also. Thank you Coach Rothe for your time and effort!! Coach Rothe reports conditions are good but still somewhat soft. It'll take another day or two for all that new snow to get really firm. So the skiing is good and we hope you can get out and enjoy it.
