I learned somewhere long ago to say "Rabbit Rabbit" on the morning of the first day of the month for good luck all month long. Fairgrounds grooming will happen mid-morning today to clean up the trails after yesterday's VERY successful High School and Middle School Races. Your hometown Hopkinton Hawks skied strong to take first place in both the Girls and Boys races. There were 68 Boys from 9 teams racing and 61 Girls 11 teams racing. PLUS about 34 Middle School Girls and Boys in each of their races. That's A LOT of skiers and Nordic Skiing action. Kudos to Coaches Rothe and Nadeau and the skiers and volunteers who worked to make that event happen.

Good morning all - overnight temps have already risen to the freezing mark and will warm up more. So we've CLOSED the FAIRGROUNDS to preserve snow for the TUESDAY race being hosted by the Hopkinton Hawks. Cold temps return Tuesday and we're pleased with that news. We'll regroom Wed AM and hope to see you out there skiing. Thank you.

Warm temps return/continue so we'll close the Fairgrounds Trails at 11AM on Sunday to preserve snow and the skiing surface for a Nordic Race on Tuesday. The High School Nordic Hawks will be hosting and it'll be a VERY busy day at the Fairgrounds. Cold weather returns mid-week so we'll get things groomed up again after the race. Check back here or on our Facebook page for updates. Thanks. /groomer sasquatch/
