Sunday 3/2/25

Well.....we tried to groom the Fairgrounds this AM but had a snowmobile problem. So no grooming happened. The snowmobile rescue squad can't mobilize until tomorrow AM. So if you go for a ski today you'll most certainly notice a snowmobile and groomer on the trail not too far from the Grooming Shed. Just ski around it for now. Trails are rough from skiers in soft snow. And there's a lot of "crunch" out there today. We'll get it smoothed out some tomorrow AM.  Then a period of warmth will close the trails for a few days with colder temps returning later in the week. IN the meantime enjoy this glorious sunny cold Sunday.

Thur 2/27/25

Wet snow this AM now changing to rain here in downtown Tooky. Temps above freezing until Friday overnight means NO GROOMING until Saturday AM. We'll get out there early Sat. to give it some grooming and try to make this new wintry mess into something skiable. Please no skiing on this new stuff while its wet, soft and warm. THANK YOU. Maybe watch some FIS World Cup Championship racing from Trondheim Norway instead?

Wed AM 2/26/25

Wed 2/26/25 Coach Rothe is out at the Fairgrounds with our Varsity Nordic Team this AM for a classic & skate workout. Our Division II State Championships are next week up at Great Glen Trails. Our skiers are a devoted hard working group so even though its school vacation week they're out there skiing!!. Kudos to them all. Coach reports that in spite of the very warm PM temps the colder overnight temps are keeping the snow in OK condition. Of course its a mix of very hard in the AM and too soft in the late PM. So choose late morning if you can and avoid skiing on it when its too soft in the afternoon. THANKS..
