Fairgrounds trails were groomed this AM. Coach Rothe gave all the skate lanes a thorough once over. A few fresh snowflakes fell into the mix while he was out smoothing things out this AM. He reports that classic tracks were not reset so they're getting a bit old and will likely be icy in many spots. But overall conditions are pretty good. Fairgrounds Trails will Close at 12noon on Saturday due to the VERY WARM temps. Please ski in the AM. We anticipate the snow will be VERY SOFT which means any ski activities will leave deep ruts. Then followed by a DEEP FREEZE means that ruts will get frozen in place and be very challenging to groom out. So we‘d like to minimize the possible damage.
