Nordic skiers only

SKIERS ONLY ON GROOMED FAIRGROUNDS TRAILS PLEASE!!!!!!! Sunday AM some non-skiers walked to the back side of the big hill and went sledding. We’re fortunate that the current snow conditions (solid base underneath and enough fresh snow on top) made grooming out the many many footprints not too terrible. It could have been much worse. With different conditions the trail grooming cleanup could have been much more challenging. Please pass the word around the community - no walking or sledding or snowshoes or dogs on groomed nordic ski trails at the Fairgrounds. THANK YOU.

Sun 2/8/26 Super Sunday

Due to the very cold temps today we plan to groom the new snow mid-day. We rolled it yesterday to get the process started and to help hold the new snow in place. If you ski it this PM expect conditions to be very soft as it’ll take a couple days of grooming and settling to firm up the new snow. Enjoy this sunny cold winter day!!

Friday 2/6/26

Fairgrounds trails groomed up very nicely today. Conditions are excellent in the skate lanes. Classic tracks are getting a bit old at this point but with new snow coming it didn’t seem worth resetting them today. It’ll be a busy afternoon out there when the school bell rings with BKL, Middle School and Varsity Teams all out skiing. How about you? Maybe time to get in some nordic skiing today?
