Mon 3/6/23 Groomed & Ready

The Fairgrounds was groomed this morning to smooth out the skate lanes and add to the classic tracks that were set yesterday. There's now a full classic loop all the way around. And plenty of snow cover. And the sun is shining on another late winter/early spring day. Ski it while you can!!

Sunday 3/5/23 Fairgrounds Groomed

Trails at the Fairgrounds were packed, rolled and got an initial grooming this AM. THere's a LOT of new snow and even with all the attention this AM conditions will be SOFT out there today. Today's warm temps and a freeze overnight will help firm things up nicely. We'll regroom tomorrow and plan to set classic tracks also. Have a good Sunday.

3/4/23 Sat Nite Snow Fever

Well that was a LOT of snow we just got. And all day long while the snow continued to fall the temp was above freezing so it was very wet and heavy - as you discovered when you went out to clear the driveway. So the grooming squad determined that the best course of action was to let it SIT overnite. We'll be out there EARLY to roll and groom. We've only got until about 10AM when the temp will rise above 32 again. So its early to bed and early to rise. Watch for updates here and on our Facebook page. Thanks.
