Sat. F3, '24. No early spring needed or wanted by this nordic groomer! We want more snow. Please do your best SNOW DANCE!! Conditions were icy and rough at the Fairgrounds but the trails were smoothed this morning. Yesterday PM's warm temps combined with many skiers (that's GOOD) followed by cold temps overnight left trails rutted and frozen early this AM. Not complaining - just reporting. So very glad that everyone is using the snow while we've got it. Afternoon temps above freezing again today should soften things a little. So I recommend an afternoon ski outing. Ski it while we've got it. Enjoy your weekend!!

Thursday F1, '24. Fairgrounds trails were groomed this AM. It was pleasant 20 degrees out so everything finally froze up nicely. The snow groomed up well but still thin cover overall and numerous ice patches. Warmer daytime temps ahead with cold nights. Spring skiing? Maple syruping? We'll adjust to the weather as needed. Ski it while we've got it. Groomer Jason was the first skier out this AM to get first tracks on the freshly groomed trails. Happy February!!

Wed J31, '24. Fairgrounds trails were groomed this morning. Still need more snow and cold weather (yes I like winter) to improve conditions. But you can ski it so I suggest you get out there and do that. No classic tracks yet as the snow cover is still not deep enough for that. Enjoy the day.
