Fairgrounds trails were groomed this morning. Skate lanes in very good shape. Existing classic tracks mostly ok but for along the tree line in the “back 40” area. Very melted along there from the strong afternoon sun. Some new classic tracks set along the light pole line and the pine trees in the front half. Early and mid-day skiing will be best. Warm afternoon temps will make for soft and slow snow conditions later in the day. Daily Temps will fluctuate a LOT as we enter March and transition to Maple Syrup season.

After the morning snow the Fairgrounds trails got a quick grooming to pack down the 1” or so of fresh new stuff. Nature keeps sharing her winter bounty with us and we hope you’re taking enjoying every bit of it. Classic tracks are still quite good though they got a bit of blow-in yesterday. The photo below is from mid-way through the grooming activities about 11AM. Looks lovely, doesn’t it?

Groomed and ready for skiing. Fairgrounds trails got a very thorough grooming today and fresh classic tracks were set. Conditions are good but still a bit soft from all the recent fresh snow. That’s NOT a complaint - we’re very glad to have the snow. There’s some blowing snow today that is slowly covering some of the freshly groomed tracks so you’ll find conditions to be variable. We’ll groom the skate lanes again tomorrow to smooth it out. Enjoy your day!! /groomer sasquatch/
