Coach/Groomer Rothe gave the Fairgrounds trails a once over this morning with the big groomer. The trails are looking smooth and classic tracks are holding up well. Skiing will be best in the AM through early afternoon then temps in the upper 30s will soften things up - perhaps a bit too much. But cold temps in the overnight will help preserve the snow. There’s more snow in the forecast for Friday and Saturday. The groundhog was right - winter is here for a while longer.
