Bill Koch Youth Ski League Registration Is Now Open
The mission of the Bill Koch League is to introduce children to cross-country skiing in a fun and supportive environment. It is open to all children grades 1-8. Practices will be held Tuesday, and Friday afternoons at the town fairgrounds (behind the Odd Fellows Hall) and some Sunday afternoons at Pat’s Peak. Skiers need not attend all practices to be a part of the group.
Registration is required and equipment is not provided, although some loaner equipment is available. Dryland exercises and games will be held if conditions do not allow for skiing. Practices will begin in early December. Although generally not a competitive program, there are opportunities for some races and one race will be held at the end of the season. If you do not have experience with cross-country skiing but are interested in trying it out, we welcome you to do so!
There will be an open house/question & answer hour at the Maple Street School library at 6-7pm on Wed. November 14th.
